Peninsula joined customers, partners and industry professionals in Monaco for the Monaco Yacht Show 2026, one of the key events in the international superyacht calendar.
Representing Peninsula across the week were colleagues from our dedicated yacht team, including Yacht Team Manager, Sash Koonjul, Yacht Fuel Traders Alexander Romei, Hermès Pilato, and Diletta Tunesi, and Yacht Business Development Executive Dean Robson: alongside Dimitri Deschaume, Regional Manager, and Diana Tasselli, Sales Manager.
The wider Peninsula presence was an important part of the week. While Diana’s Team focuses on bunkering for commercial shipping across France, Italy and the Mediterranean, being in Monaco provided an opportunity to connect with customers and partners and strengthen relationships across a region central to her role.
Bringing colleagues from across the business together also reflects Peninsula’s wider approach: combining specialist yacht expertise with the relationships, market knowledge and capabilities of a global marine energy provider.
Bringing marine energy expertise to the Captains’ Forum
Peninsula’s participation extended beyond the show itself. On 24 September, Sash Koonjul joined the Captains’ Forum 2026 as a panellist for a discussion on future energy sources onboard ships and yachts. The session explored methanol and HVO and the routes available today.
“There is no single route forward when it comes to future marine energy and yacht bunkering. What matters is understanding the options, their practical applications and how they can meet the evolving needs of our customers. Peninsula is ready to support that journey, supplying the viable bunkering solutions our customers need as the market evolves. It was great to bring that perspective to the Captains’ Forum.” Sash Koonjul, Yacht Team Manager
The forum provided an opportunity for Peninsula to contribute its wider marine energy perspective to the conversation around the sector’s evolving energy needs, connecting the specialist knowledge of our yacht team with experience from across the wider shipping industry.
Strengthening relationships beyond the show
Peninsula was also proud to be Presenting Event Partner of the Fraser Captains’ Soirée & Awards on 24 September, bringing colleagues and industry partners together during the Monaco week.
Across the Monaco Yacht Show, Captains’ Forum and Fraser Captains’ Soirée & Awards, the week was ultimately about being close to the people and markets Peninsula serves. Face-to-face conversations help strengthen existing relationships, build new ones and keep our teams connected to customers and partners across the region.
For our yacht customers, that means access not only to a dedicated team with specialist sector knowledge, but to the reach, market expertise and marine energy capabilities of the wider Peninsula business.
Wherever your journey takes you, speak to Peninsula about your fuelling requirements.
