With more than 18 years of experience in yacht bunkering, Sash Koonjul has built a career supporting fuel supply operations for yachts across the globe, developing extensive expertise across both established yachting hubs and some of the world’s most remote operating environments.
Now leading Peninsula Yacht Services as Yacht Team Manager in our London office, Sash brings a deep understanding of the sector and a proven track record of coordinating complex fuelling requirements worldwide, delivering reliable solutions for owners, captains and management teams wherever their operations take them.
Born and raised in London, Sash pursued higher education in Manchester before beginning his professional career in management. A move to Italy ultimately led him to the yachting industry in 2008, a path he has remained dedicated to ever since.
Over the course of his career, Sash has developed extensive experience across the global yacht and marine fuel sectors, building a reputation for delivering dependable fuel solutions in complex operating environments.
Reflecting on what has kept him in the industry for nearly two decades, Sash points to the unique combination of relationships, problem-solving and operational complexity that characterises yacht bunkering.

Among the most memorable projects of his career has been supporting superyachts operating along the Northwest Passage, the remote Arctic route linking the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans through the Canadian Arctic Archipelago. Coordinating fuel supply in such challenging environments requires meticulous planning, local knowledge and a solutions-driven approach.
